Thomas Weckemann, who joined us in 2022, learned his trade at various private and major banks, completed two financial analyst programmes in the USA, and gained an Executive MBA from the University of Zurich. He is a nature lover, sports enthusiast and father of two, and is interested in people, issues associated with age, and digitalisation.

Christian R. Bidermann joined Rahn+Bodmer Co. in 1997 and replaced his father as partner in 2001. The economist with a degree from the University of Zurich acquired the necessary expertise by working with brokers in New York, among other places. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, and not only on Lake Zurich.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance (ZHAW), Jay Bidermann gained experience working at large banks and a boutique asset management firm. He also held positions in Bangkok and Hong Kong before joining Rahn+Bodmer Co. as a portfolio manager in 2016. He works as a client advisor and became the youngest partner at Switzerland’s oldest private bank in January 2023.

Martin H. Bidermann gained extensive experience as a securities trader in North America and the Far East. He joined Rahn+Bodmer Co. in 1986, becoming the third-generation representative of his family to do so. Martin is a mountaineering enthusiast and volunteers for the non-profit organisation Right To Play.

Pascale Nüesch acquired in-depth knowledge and experience in servicing discerning private clients during 10 years at a major bank and 13 years at a private bank. Lukas Seeschaaf started his career with a commercial apprenticeship here at Rahn+Bodmer Co. Afterwards, he worked on the external asset managers team before switching to private client consulting. Tiziano Foiera holds a Law degree from the University of Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies in Financial Consulting from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences. Since 2017, we have benefited from his experience as a tax commissioner and as a consultant at an auditing firm. He advises private clients on all matters relating to tax and inheritance law as well as the acquisition and sale of real estate.

Tanja Bootz is a renowned foundation expert. Michelle Syfrig worked at two major Swiss banks in wealth planning for 12 years, most recently as leader of the inheritances team. After completing his degree in Commerce, Mike Immer worked for five years in various departments of a major Swiss bank. He then moved to the trading department of a Zurich private bank for 12 years. He was subsequently employed there in the external asset management department. Since 2006, he has headed this department at Rahn+Bodmer Co.

Daniel Ambrogini possesses extensive theoretical knowledge as holder of an Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Business Administration and as a Certified International Investment Analyst. He also has more than 20 years of hands-on experience, gained at Swiss financial institutions in Zurich and New York. He has been sharing his expertise with us as Senior Portfolio Manager since 2007.

She wrote her master’s thesis on behalf of a Swiss private bank, where she began working as a portfolio manager after completing her studies. After a stint in portfolio management at a Zurich family office, she joined Rahn+Bodmer Co. as a portfolio manager in 2013.

Raphaella Bötschi has been responsible for fund selection at Rahn+Bodmer Co. since 2022. After obtaining her master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG), she worked in fund analysis with a focus on sustainable investments and client advisory. She also has a degree in business education from HSG and holds the CFA ESG Certificate.

Michael Griesdorf completed a banking apprenticeship at a Swiss retail bank. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a focus on banking and finance, he worked as an editor for well-known Swiss financial media outlets, and as an analyst for an asset manager. He joined Rahn+Bodmer Co. in January 2022 as an analyst in the health and raw materials sector.

Nina Kucera obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich and a Master of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance from the University of Zurich. After spending several years at a major Swiss bank, she joined Rahn+Bodmer Co. in 2018, where she first worked as a tax specialist and then as a member of the Financial Services team. She has been a portfolio manager since 2022.

Thorsten Küchler holds a degree in economics from the University of Konstanz. He started his career as an interest rate and currency analyst, before switching to portfolio management. He is an investment and market strategist in the investment office and a member of the strategy committee. His remit includes concepts for tactical asset allocation and for managing quantitative mandates.

He has been Head of Portfolio Management since 2010 and is deputy to the head of the business unit.

Heinz Rüttimann is an investment and market strategist in the Rahn+Bodmer Co. investment office. He is a noted author of our publications and speaker at events. He previously worked for a family office and as a fund manager and equity market strategist at a Swiss private bank. He holds a degree from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) and he is also a CAIA charterholder and CESGA-certified.

Christian Schmidiger holds a master’s degree in finance from Imperial College Business School in London, as well as several post-graduate diplomas. He is also a CFA charterholder. He acquired his research skills while working for major Swiss banks and at a hedge fund in London. He has been responsible for the analysis of insurance, financial and consumer goods equities at Rahn+Bodmer Co. since 2023.
